I finally have a pair of these Ray-Ban Clubmaster frames (petite-version of course, as my head is unusually small for someone so smart…) that I’ve been craving for months thanks to a Bloomies gift card! Also wearing my favorite scarf which was purchased from Marshalls (much like all my scarves). In fact, my skirt and booties were also purchased via Marshalls and my sweater was a $10 vintage find! Deals on deals on deals today… You can’t beat a great price, people.

Wearing – Michael Kors skirt (old, lusting over this one), Vintage sweater (similar, under $30!), Marc New York cape (last seen here), Jessica Simpson booties (love these), Ray-Ban sunnies, Gorjana rings, Michael Kors watch, vintage bracelets

I was given this delightful little fedora for Christmas, which I immediately rejected as “too much” for me. My Mom refused to return it, forced me to try it on everyday for a week, and finally convinced me (er, maybe?) that I looked “adorable” in it. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against hats. I often admire them on the heads of others, but I was never able to find one that fit my abnormally small dome (this version comes in sizes) or that seemed to fit my wardrobe. So here’s to new style adventures in 2013! Taking risks and taking names… while wearing a hat…

What do you think of my topper? Will you be taking fashion risks this year? Tell me in the comments!

Weekend Recap: Oktoberfest

This weekend, we went to the Radegast Hall Biergarten to celebrate Oktoberfest with yummy food, drinks, and great company. See some highlights from the day below…

Clockwise from Top: Goofy Manfriend and I, Oktoberfest line-up, giant pretzel, and Cards Against Humanity (a.k.a funniest game ever!) – Photos on left courtesy of Cal

Hope you all had a great weekend! P.S. I am wearing Zara striped sweater-dress (love this version by Joie) and pashmina scarf via Marshalls.
