It would be remiss if I let October go by without posting about ta-tas. As an advocate of pink on the reg, (see blog title…), I can’t help but love all the pink support that comes out during Breast Cancer Awareness month. What can be better than shopping AND helping other people?? Here are some of my favorite products you can purchase this month that will support the fight again breast cancer:
Clockwise from Top Left: Donna Karan Cashmere Eau de Parfum, Keep Calm and Fight On, Essie BCA Collection Polish, COACH leather bag, Movado Special Edition BCA watch, Giuliana Rancic for LOFT necklace, ECHO scarf, and Dannijo BCA bracelet
If you have any favorite pink products or stories, please share them in the comments!
My office is freezing. I mean knit hat, thick socks, fisherman sweater, thermal pants, and scarf kind of freezing. I don’t want to give up my dresses for work, so I have been hunting for long-sleeve guys (that I can then layer the aforementioned pieces over… I kid). Here are some of my favorites, almost none of which I can afford… Enjoy 🙂
I’ve always adored pointed-toe shoes for their super-feminine/kick your ass dichotomy… Let’s be honest a round or peep-toe style just won’t get the job done. These are some of my favorites for Fall. (Notice that one pair is much bigger and more central than the others… Yuppp, would kill for these Wangs.)
For the first time in my life, I am in a position where the dress code is defined by those two dreaded little words: business professional…. dun dun duuuuun. There are a number of problems with this. First, I want to look fashion forward and young. Second, it is a million and one degrees outside (yet, the office is freezing). And third, I don’t want to get bored with my options. So here are the items I am craving right now for the office, that are still young, cool (in every meaning of the word), and work-appropriate…
These amazing zip-front sandals in taupe leather are my friday fashion find, because they look rich, sturdy, and comfortable. The bonus: Topshop is offering free shipping today on orders of $60 and over! So order some new shoes and have yourself a great weekend!
Clockwise from Top Left: HANNE BLOCH one piece, Rebecca Minkoff Suri Wedges, Madewell Perfect Chambray shirt, Elizabeth & James Silk Floral Shorts (similar), Nicky Butler Purple Turquoise Bronze Ring (similar), Gryphon Metallic Epaulet Striped Dress
Here are a few lust-worthy items to start off the week. Right now the weather is not cooperating with anything my Summer wish list, but a girl can dream… Hope you had a great weekend!
Michael Kors makes thebest watches. I have one in silver and one in rosegold, but I’ve had my eye on this tortoise shell watch on the left for a while now. This gorgeousMichael Kors watch is $225. Unfortunately, since the real world just creeped up on me, this watch isn’t in the budget right now, so I went searching for a similar, less pricey option. You are welcome, readers… On the right you have an Anne Klein version, which is just $65! I will never stop lusting over Michael Kors watches, but a cheaper option is always welcome.
These claw bracelets have slightly different gold tones, but the major difference between them is a price of about $900! Pause for a moment to take that in, because my mind is still reeling… The unbelievably gorgeous piece on the left, which is a cuff I have been lusting over for years now since I first saw it in her showroom, is a Pamela Love creation which carries the price tag of a mere $920.00! On the right is a version made by ASOS, which retails for just over $20.00. Seems like an obvious choice, no?
P.S. I’d like to wish the most amazing Mom in the world a wonderful Mother’s Day! I miss you and love you very much. XO
