Style Inspiration: Jean skirts are back?

Vogue Spain, via fashiongonerogue.com

This gives me flashbacks to elementary school: I was that petite blonde (wow, I need a second to form that mental image too) attempting to keep up with the boys in my jean skirt. Because obviously the best way to get a guy’s attention is to challenge them to kickball, while showing off your legs in a skirt… Here are a couple of “grown up” ways to wear the new jean skirt:

The jury is still out for me. What do you think – will you be flaunting your legs this Spring in a denim skirt?

The Style Genesis

If there was a thought bubble above my head, you might notice that at any moment throughout the day I am thinking about fashion… well that and food. But who could blame me, really? So welcome to my creative outlet for these thoughts: my fashion blog! On these pages, I will share my own personal style, fashion inspirations, current closet cravings, and anything else I find post-worthy (it’s my blog, so deal with it!)

The title for my blog comes from a quote spoken by the stunning Hollywood icon, Audrey Hepburn. She said,

“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything else is going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles.”

Her words are as elegant as her timeless style. I strive to invoke this ideology and the poise of Audrey in my daily life. So please…
